Colour & Character

Colour & Character brings together four selected works from iSamo’s experimental portrait collection. Each image treats colour as part of a person’s presence: a bright coat, an oversized hat or a gesture of painted light can carry the image’s personality.

The portraits sit between fashion imagery and expressive illustration. Dark backgrounds give the saturated colours room to stand out, while the recurring use of faces, glasses and headwear connects the works.

Samer Abdulridha’s direction centres on contrast: warm against cool, patterned fabric against dark space, and recognisable portrait forms against painterly textures. The wardrobe and the face share the storytelling.

The pairing of figures is another recurring device. A shared palette can bring two characters together, while differences in texture and expression keep their identities distinct.

The images are AI-generated visual artworks. The collection is presented as a curated series, with a title and a clear visual description for each piece.

The result is a four-image selection published on Behance and within the iSamo portfolio. The complete images below preserve the vertical compositions, allowing the clothing, gestures and quieter details to remain part of the viewing experience.
