The idea
Memory Sky begins with a small, familiar act: writing something on a piece of paper. The experience gives that act a different destination. Instead of remaining on a desk, the note leaves the visitor’s hands and becomes part of a shared sky.
The invitation is open-ended. A memory, a feeling or a few words can become a visible presence among the stories that other visitors have left behind.
Designing the feeling
Samer’s concept combines handwritten paper, a quiet night sky and the motion of release. Visitors choose a paper colour, a type style and up to four feelings, so the note has a personal character before it enters the wider scene.
Movement supports the story. Visitors can travel through the space, steer between the notes, and open an individual memory to read it clearly. Folding paper and layered stars create a sense of distance without turning the written message into a background detail.
How it works
The experience uses React for the writing and reading interactions, CSS-based spatial movement for the paper notes, and layered SVG stars for the sky. The same scene supports touch interaction and desktop controls.
Submitted notes are stored by the site, with moderation controls for managing the shared collection. Each memory also has a reading view and a sharing flow, carrying the visitor’s words beyond the original writing moment.
The result
Memory Sky is a live, participatory part of the iSamo portfolio. The visitor contributes to the work, making the collection an evolving space for words, emotion and shared presence.
